Good Evening!(or morning, depending on when you read this) Today's  book: A Wrinkle in Time. By Madeleine L`engle. I am so sorry I haven't posted in so long. I write on my mom's laptop and she had to take it to New York for the past couple of weeks. Anyway, A Wrinkle in Time is an old classic (1962) and is very well written.  I have read all the books at least twice. However, lot of people who read this book don't realize there are four more books in addition to the first one because although the first  book is called A Wrinkle in Time , it is also the name of the series. Today I am going to summarize the first book.    The book starts on a dark and stormy night.  Meg, (the main character) cannot sleep so she goes downstairs for a midnight snack. There, she finds her younger brother Charles Wallace waiting for her, knowing she wouldn't be able to  sleep in the middle of a thunderstorm. While they are there, a mysterious guest arrives at their door. Her
Missed You!     Today's  Book series: The Sisters Grimm.  Hi everybody! Sorry for taking so long getting back to you. Its been a busy week. So anyway, The Sisters Grimm is written by Michael Buckley and is one of my oldest favorites. The plot is similar to that of the popular book series, The Land of Stories,(Which I plan on writing about later) but is not as well known. There are however, significant differences.     The Sisters Grimm starts off when, in the first book, The Fairy -Tale Detectives,  two sisters,Sabrina and Daphne Grimm, are sent to live with a grandmother they didn't know they had. Since the mysterious disappearance of their parents,Sabrina and Daphne have been bounced from one foster care family to the next, have run away every time. When they are taken to their grandmother`s house in the small town or Ferryport Landing,  the sisters receive the unbelievable news that they are the descendants of Wilhelm Grimm, one of the brothers Grimm. Hello Again!! Wings of Fire: Hi there! Today I will be covering the book series Wings of Fire. Wings of Fire is probably in my top-ten favorite books and is a great Read for young readers who are looking for fairly-long chapter books but nothing to hard. The author of the books is Tui T.  Sutherland who also happens to be one of the authors who work together to write the Warriors series under the name Erin Hunter, which is another  nominee for my top-ten  favorite books. Sorry, was that sentence too long? Ill give you a moment to work  it out. Anyway, the first thing you should know is that Wings of Fire is mainly about dragons. Very little humans involved, and at rare times that humans (called 'scavengers' by the dragons)  are  involved, they can't really communicate with the dragons. Sorry for those hoping for a 'How to Train your Dragon' plot. Wings of fire is a series split into to three parts, and every part is five books long. (Exce
Hello!!! My name is Hanna Gail  and I am in 7th grade. I am enormously exited to do my second-favorite thing; Talk about books!! (The first being  reading   books). Technically I guess I am writing which is my third  favorite thing. Sorry, I'm getting off track. To the point. If you are not a bookworm then this blog is not for you. How do know if you are a bookworm? Easy. Do your teachers constantly have to tell you to"put away that book now" under threats of detention? Do you often find yourself daydreaming about mythical worlds? Do you settle down for a nice read and after what you could have sworn was only minutes have gone by you casually glance at the clock and find you have been reading for hours? If you suffer from any of these symptoms than you probably have Bookworm-itus (sorry, there is no known cure).          I for one have all these things happen to me on  numerous occasions. If there is a problem in my life then books will usually solve it. Bored? Rea
